Recycling is an important step in making Indianapolis more sustainable. It diverts waste from the land fill. In change the recycle material gets broken down and processed to be reused. EPA found that an individual produces 4.62 pounds of waste per day in 2007, that is almost a ton of trash a year. Almost 60% ohese materials are accepted in Indianapolis's recycle programs. You can do your part by participating in Indianapolis’s Recycle Program.
Current Indianapolis recycling programs:
Residential Drop-off
Curbside Recycling
Pedestrian Recycling Receptacles
eCycle
