Indy Parks and Recreation currently maintains and operates 206 park properties in the Indianapolis and Marion County area, ranging in size from Eagle Creek Park, one of the largest municipal parks in the country, to small neighborhood pocket parks.

Indy Parks also manages four nature preserves in partnership with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Division of Nature Preserves. These areas contain four hundred forested acres.
