MassAve Recycling
The City of Indianapolis, in partnership with the Mass Ave. Merchants Association, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. and Schmidt Associates, announced today that ten new pedestrian recycling bins have been installed along Massachusetts Avenue, one of the city's six cultural districts.
The pedestrian recycling bins (please see picture on next page) were designed by Chris Foster, an emerging local metal artist and welder. The bins are designed to take aluminum and plastic bottles and cans in individual quantities. The closest drop-off location for larger quantities of recyclables is the Marketplace at Lockerbie, located at 320 N. New Jersey St.
